Vancouver Capilano bridge

This was my favorite!! We walked in the midst of trees that were hundreds of years old. There was the Cliff Walk - a bridge suspended to the cliff. The main suspension bridge, the tree houses, a trout pond, and a scenic walk through the trees. The smell of the forest was incredible. The feeling of being there was like a winter day deep in the snowy woods when it's almost silent except for the creaking of the trees. It was magical. So awesome!!

Subject: Exploring Vancouver

Waking up in the big city.  We can hear the trains and the boat horns blowing - two boys think it's amazing.  What a day we've had so far..we started it off with a chocolate pastry chef demo and tasting..yum!  An awesome bike tour around Stanley Park (totem poles check). Check out those logs at the beach..so cool.  And the kids found a really huge old tree fort. The walk back from Spokes bike rentals was oh maybe 10-15 blocks so we let the kids share a banana split - I've never seen ice cream vanish so quickly!

Go State!

We had quite the rotation of Michigan state gear this last week...took the place of the batman obsession.

Last day of kinder

Well folks it's been a year!! Wyland is officially off to 1st grade. Here's to more days like the last pic! Wish me luck on complete exhaustion and adventure with the help of Mother Nature.
