Super readers

Wyland has taken it upon himself to read for 60 minutes. Sid is flipping through his book searching for sight words. Wow - I couldn't be more proud of these two.

...this was after several morning pillow fights and dog piles and couch tackling..I'll take the small moments when I can get them!

Someone is excited

...Christmas is in the air.

Free at Last

After a hard fought 3 weeks the kid is finally free.

He actually did really well with his left hand. Did most of his homework, went fishing several times, and played basketball with the team without much complaining. Tough kid.

October Saturdays

Wyland has his first basketball evaluation early Saturday morning. He did great..I didn't even realize he could dribble. Yeah!! Winter basketball updates coming soon.

Since it was almost 80 degrees we decided the beach was a must. Although it looks like an almost private beach...we circled around trying to find a spot for almost a half hour. Boo. It was gorgeous - glad we made it happen.

The boys were very attentive during the state game. I was also impressed with their questions. The last two pics show what they did when no longer paying attention. Amazing!

Good boys - slept great both nights daddo was away having fun.

Sunday Funday

Yes those are giant egg chairs at a new breakfast spot. The beach was beautiful and the ocean is still warm..yeah! We even had time to practice this weeks words for Wyland's first round of spelling.

First grade

It's official!! The big first grader is on his way. We did have to walk in with a friend thou...Wyland was actually nervous today..shocking. Our big boy will do great.

Rainy day Vancouver sights

Vancouver has a great aquarium and science museum. The kids had fun. Momma is glad we had a few really sunny days to start the trip. Even the big kid had fun experimenting.
