Valentine's week

We had a very different week out here. Temperature swings and some exciting adventures. To kick things off we went east to a camel dairy with all sorts of animals (turkeys, lambs, camels, chicken, cats..) and then to a wine tasting (of course I mean we only drove by one every 1/4 mile or so after hitting the mountains). We think Sid has plans to be a ranch hand. Back to the coast for our first test of the ocean temp at dog beach - it was a blast! Silliness at Legoland and to cap it off a few trips to our favorite garden. Whew! Off to plan the next adventure. Xoxo

The Guide

Meet my tour guide Sid aka Hand on Hip. He loves exploring the lagoon with you. He'll run up hills with you, tell you about the birds, find the pokeys (can you guess?), tell you about the sparkly water, and count the sticks. Don't worry he'll make sure you drink water and take a break. He insisted on the boots.

Hello warm weather

Hiking, kids getting way too tired in the heat, lifting sacks of potatoes, water gun fights, frozen yogurt after splashing around the fountain..all the fun of warm weather comes back easy peasy..like ridding a bike. Haha
